Maame's Dream

I have always been a giver. I find joy and fulfillment in giving.
I am very joyous and honored, when I can be of help.
Having lost my mother at the young age of 11 years, and
raised by my daddy, who did a very good job as a single parent.
I believe I can strongly identify with children who have lost a parent.
So, I find it necessary to extend love and kindness to these children.

Show them some compassion and let them believe there is so much love out here for them.
Hence, the conception of this dream, to start a foundation to support children
who have lost one or both parents. Over the years, I had the opportunity to privately
put smiles on children's faces, which has always been an honor.

I officially started BigHearts Foundation in April 2020 to put smiles on children's faces, one child at a time.
This  has been a dream for years, and I thank God it has been birthed. I believe, as citizens, we can support
each other and let people know they are loved, cherished, and that we are there for them. There is nothing as reassuring as knowing someone is there for you.

I am so proud of the Board of Directors, who gladly accepted to join me in making BigHearts Foundation a success.
Their support is immeasurable, and I thank God for them. All of us believe in giving back to our community and being
a blessing to others. That is why we find this foundation a worthy cause.
