Maame Sefa Akumatey Founder & President As a registered nurse for 24 years, Maame has dedicated her life to caring for people. She has always loved to cheer people on and believes in positive comments. She is very complimentary and believes empowering others creates a community of strong, confident individuals. Maame loves to see kids smile. She is a strong believer in empowering kids and encouraging them to be strong, confident, and cheerful individuals. She decided to do this by founding BigHearts Foundation. Maame supports other charitable organizations and believes in the power of giving and giving with liberality, as stated in Romans 12:8.

Maame currently works as a clinical research nurse. She is married to Eben Akumatey and lives
with their three adorable children: Nicole, Sean, and Adriel. They love God and believe in the power
and the love of Jesus Christ.

Georgina Lamptey Treasurer Georgina Lamptey is another believer in Christ. Loves children and was a Sunday school teacher for years. She teachers the gospel, serves as a church deaconess and has worked as a registered labor and delivery nurse for 36 years. She supports BigHearts Foundation and its mission and trusts we can touch many lives through giving. She lives in Maryland with her wonderful family. Geoergina is also the CEO of Eastbourne TV.

Charlotte Asare Secretary Charlotte Asare BSN, RN, originally from Ghana. Worked as a nurse in various hospitals in NY, CT, PA, DC and MD. Currently MSN-student at Chamberlain University studying Healthcare Policy. She want to help shape the healthcare system to provide excellent, quality and cost effective care and also to advocate for the under served population. Charlotte has been a registered nurse for 30 years and joins BigHearts Foundation to give back to the community. Charlotte believes in touching lives through kind gestures, supporting vulnerable children, and trusts that being an advocate, or speaking with children on childhood issues can help raise strong, confident kids. "I just want to support these children, grow up to become great individuals." (Charlotte).

Ebenezer Akumatey Chair Mr. Akumatey is a network engineer who also believes in helping the needy in society. He supports giving back to the community and is a strong believer in helping others become great. He has been Maame's number-one supporter and told her to pursue her dream of founding BigHearts Foundation.
Eben is honored and proud to be associated with BigHearts Foundation and its vision. He trusts God will make this foundation touch many lives and impact lots of children's lives.
